Pope Family Dentistry is Hiring a Front Desk Dental Receptionist Near Greensboro, NC

Our growing family dental practice is seeking a full-time front desk receptionist to join our team. We serve all ages of the population and we operate a busy office with an emphasis on patient education. We have a long-standing patient base and are always adding new patients as well. The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere. The job will consist of mainly front desk administrative duties, as well as some occasional clinical duties as needed. The job will be a minimum of 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday and require some Fridays). Hours are M,T,TH 8am-5pm, W 7am-5pm.

Front office jobs include but not limited to:

  • Answering phone and scheduling patients for hygiene and restorative
  • Going over treatment plans with patients
  • Verifying insurances by phone and online
  • Cleaning the office and making sure it is disinfected, making sure the lobby and other areas of the office are organized

Clinical jobs include:

  • Assisting with new patient exams
  • Seating and checking in patients
  • Helping with sterilization when needed
  • Helping clean and disinfect the office and operatories

Computer skills include:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel

Education and licenses required

  • Current CPR certification
